Florida-based GE Security Inc. announced Tuesday that it has a new plan for designing and distributing video products for specific market segments, aimed to enhance customer satisfaction. Utilizing the brand names UltraView Series and TruVision Line, the GE Security video surveillance devices will target high-performance and cost-oriented security requirements.
Responding to the volatile economy, GE Security is dedicated to providing customers with access to the best products regardless of project complexity. The two above-mentioned security solution lines will allow customers to identify their needs, simplifying the decision-making process.
“Today, more than ever, our customers need flexibility in their surveillance systems,” stated General Manager, Video Product Management for GE Security, Tom Cashman. “To better meet customer needs, GE Security developed video solutions that would provide the industry with the widest range of price and performance options. By offering the TruVision and UltraView lines of products, customers have access to a portfolio of quality GE Security products regardless of budget and security needs.”
Delivering cost-efficient security solutions, the TruVision Line is perfect for stand-alone or basic integrated installations. These dependable products include cameras, monitors, and digital video recorders. Among the recently introduced devices, GE Security included six IR camera models that range from standard-resolution to high-resolution. TruVision also offers a 16x pan-tilt-zoom camera and LCD monitors.
The UltraView Series, scheduled to become available in the coming months, will offer high-performance products to customers. This series will include new IP cameras, storage servers, EVRs, monitors and encoders in addition to existing products such as the Legend PTZ dome camera and Discovery 2415, the enterprise video recorder.
